A free day, craving, and uber drive later...we found it. Like bumping into your long lost childhood friend later in life, we found Krispy Kreme. Formerly situated where Vitamin World is now in Dedham, Krispy Kreme and its glazed delights were there for a short, but memorable time. Although it took our uber driver what seemed like an hour, we arrived in no time. When we got there, we were astounded by the myriad of doughnuts available. However, providence showed the way to a classic dozen of classic glazed doughnuts when an elder southern woman kindly passed on her Krispy Kreme coupons to us. I also bought a sweet tea (because we're in the south and why not?). While waiting for our uber driver to bring us back, Brendan had to live up to the phrase, "Take a picture, it'll last longer". Krispy Kreme: although the closest you are to us is Mohegan Sun, you are gone, but not forgotten.
